1925: Consolidated Cut Stone Office Building
Consolidated Cut Stone Office Building

1925 | *1323 E. 5th Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma *| Tucked into an industrial pocket near the Pearl District the Consolidated Cut Stone Office Building features a rectangular plan, two-story masonry structure with stone walls, incised ornament in door and window frames. The original design was simplified in the building process. Goff worked at Rush, Endacott & Rush throughout his high school career, including time as a draftsman for Consolidated Cut Stone Company in 1921, which had been planned as part of his apprenticeship. He also gained significant construction experience during this time. Many builders and project managers speak to the precision of Goff's designs and his ability to translate that precision into the execution stages of building. Consolidated Cut Stone had supplied stone for several buildings designed by Rush, Endacott and Rush and Bruce Goff so it was only natural that he designed their office building.
